Acquisitions of local dealerships, collision centers, car washes, parts operations and brand franchises have been completed.
The sale of Apple Automotive, formerly owned by The Stewart Companies, to Ciocca Automotive was completed on Monday, Ciocca announced.
“This agreement is a significant milestone for Ciocca Automotive, and the organization will continue to operate over 52 dealerships across Pennsylvania and New Jersey,” Christy Del Rio, marketing director for Ciocca Automotive, said in a Monday news release. “We will have 18 collision centers and 25 franchises.”
“With 10 auto dealerships representing 10 auto brand franchises, two used auto dealerships, six collision centers, two car washes, and a wholesale parts business, Apple Automotive is recognized as an integral part of the region's auto industry. We have established our position.”

The sale of Apple Automotive was announced last October. The company, which has been part of the Stewart Companies business group for the past 45 years, previously said the sale was part of a strategic initiative focused on expanding its building products, construction and real estate businesses.

In a news release, David Stewart, CEO of The Stewart Companies, praised Ciocca Dealerships and said ensuring Apple Automotive's future prosperity was central to the company's evaluation process.

Car brands represented by Apple Automotive include Honda, BMW, Chevrolet, Jeep, Subaru, Ford, and more.
