Taylor Swift fans have been warned about heavy snow hitting Tokyo ahead of four shows in the Japanese city.
The superstar will perform four nights at the Tokyo Dome as part of his Eras tour, then return to the United States to watch his partner, soccer superstar Travis Kelce, play in the Super Bowl.
Heavy snow pounded the Tokyo area on Monday, disrupting trains and grounding more than 100 flights, with transport authorities warning drivers to avoid non-essential travel.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, snowfall will peak on Monday night, with up to 55 centimeters (21 inches) expected to fall in mountainous areas north of Tokyo.
According to Kyodo News, the amount of snowfall in central Tokyo has decreased significantly, with more than 1 centimeter of snow reported for the first time in two years.
In the Tokyo metropolitan area, some train services were restricted, and some expressways, including the Tomei Expressway and the Shuto Expressway, were also closed.
As of Monday afternoon, more than 100 domestic flights and several international flights to and from Tokyo's Haneda Airport had been canceled, according to the airport.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is urging drivers to avoid unnecessary outings and to wear winter tires and tire chains.

The last of four scheduled Tokyo shows on Swift's Ellas tour will be on February 10th. Due to time zone differences, if she leaves at midnight, it will be 7am. Saturday in Las Vegas.
A spokeswoman for Swift did not respond to questions Thursday about whether she plans to attend the Super Bowl, whether she has any travel arrangements or where her pilots can park the plane.
Swift has one or more private jets, including a Dassault Falcon 900 that typically seats at least 12 people and can fly at speeds of up to 950 km/h (590 mph). The scrutiny of her jet travel has drawn some criticism regarding greenhouse gas emissions.
Swift has a very public relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Kelce. The AFC champions will face the NFC champion San Francisco 49ers on February 11th.
