Taylor Swift's trip to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl was so expensive that the NFL's approach could face tough scrutiny.
CBS analyst and former iconic NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason weighs in on the cost of Swift's travel from this weekend's concert in Japan to Las Vegas.
Swift's Elas Tour kicks off on Saturday, February 10th in Tokyo, Japan.
And her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, gets ready to play the next day against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XV.
Swift is expected to arrive in time to meet her boyfriend at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday.
And the music icon is likely to pay for her own private jet to get to the big game.
Swift's net worth is over $1 billion.
Esiason, an analyst on CBS' NFL Today, speculated: WFAN morning radio show Speaking on “Boomer and Gio” with co-host Greg Gianotti, the music icon said he thinks he might want the NFL to pay for his trip to the Super Bowl.
In his prediction, the NFL legend noted that Swift's Kelce and Chiefs fans “raised the level of the NFL.”
Additionally, Esiason added that the 14-time Grammy Award winner's “people have been in contact with the NFL,” saying, “Maybe they're saying, 'If you want her to play in the game, you're going to have to pay for her jet back from Tokyo. 'And she needs her own suite,' he added. . ”

He continued, “I'm telling you, this is all about business. How many times are we at CBS going to show her? And are we going to show an arrival shot?”
Additionally, Boomer explained that CBS and the NFL, which broadcast the Super Bowl, may be in talks to increase Taylor's access to the big game in exchange for paying for Taylor's travel expenses.
When Giannoti asked Esiason if his words were “speculation,” the 62-year-old replied, “I think that's my guess.”
