HUNTINGTON, N.Y. — Scoop Squad Solutions opened for business Thursday. The Huntington-based company offers pet waste removal services.
Co-founders Thomas Pinto and Jeris Hernandez said the business cleans up yards on Long Island's north and south coasts between Port Washington and St. James.

Scoop Squad Solutions provides services to remove waste from lawns once a week or as many times as the customer desires.
“We don’t bother homeowners,” Hernandez told Patch. “We don't bother them at all. We set them up to give us access to the premises every time. We come and go.”
People can make reservations through the Scoop Squad Solutions website, DM through their Instagram page, or by calling/texting 516-928-1757. This business offers free estimates.
“Given the complexity of life and the hectic daily routine that everyone on Long Island typically experiences, we want to be the service that helps you take back your time,” Hernandez said.
Pinto said the service allows people to do other things while they tend to their gardens.
Pinto launched his first business, The Suds Boss, a mobile vehicle detailing business, in 2020. We offer detailing, ceramic coatings, and more. Mr. Pinto loved customer service and interacting with customers, which made him want to start a second business with Mr. Hernandez, he said.
“This was interesting because it's different,” Pinto said of Scoop Squad Solutions. “I don't see this service very often, so I thought I'd give it a try.”
According to its website, the company scoops gardens every day in all weather conditions using a custom-built poop scooper that works in sun, rain, snow and ice. In addition to automatic payments, we also offer pay-as-you-go services. Users may change or cancel their Services at any time.
