Many dogs love snowy days, but few enjoy them as much as Pomsky, who worried the neighbors by wanting to stay outside for too long.
When Zeus saw snow falling outside, he probably couldn't believe his luck and never wanted to go back inside, even if his owner, Farida Hashmi, chased after him. My three-year-old son was so happy to be there for more than an hour, running in circles around the garden, his thick fur coat covered with white fluffy snow.
Hashmi, who lives in Canada, said Zeus is always happy, but when it's snowing, everything gets even more exciting.she said newsweek He is a “winter baby” and doesn't let much get in the way of playing in the snow.
As Zeus continued to enjoy the snow and cold that day, a neighbor became concerned about his safety and called the police. But when Hashmi told the officers that Zeus was a Pomsky, “they saw the breed and started laughing.”
Hashmi said, “Zeus has a great personality and looks adorable. The whole family really loves him.” “He loves nothing more than eating, sleeping, and doing things in the snow.''
The Pomsky is a cross between a Siberian Husky and a Pomeranian, and there is little doubt that this breed was created for snow. They are very high energy dogs, so they need plenty of exercise every day to keep them stimulated. Hill's Pet Nutrition suggests that they need about an hour of exercise each day, so multiple walks may be needed to stimulate them.
Dogs like Zeus enjoy every opportunity to play in the snow. Hill's Pet Nutrition says owners shouldn't be afraid to let their puppies embrace winter weather. However, be on the lookout for signs that your dog is overexposed to the cold, such as shivering.
At this time, Zeus was happy to stay outside in the snow as long as possible, so there was no need to worry. He started eating as soon as he was ready to go home.
“When he came home, I made him a dinner of chicken and rice and let him enjoy it,” Hashmi said.
How has your social media audience reacted?
After the unexpected police call, Hashmi couldn't help but share the hilarious anecdote on Zeus' Instagram account (@the_pomskey), much to the delight of thousands of people. A clip of Zeus enjoying the snow despite the concerns of his neighbors has been viewed more than 5.1 million times and received more than 360,000 likes on Instagram.
Hashmi loves seeing all the “amazing reactions” to the video, which has received over 2,700 comments so far.
One commenter wrote, “The cops laughed because they knew an hour wasn't enough time for Snowflake.”
Another said: “They have been bred for extremely cold climates. What you see is the joy of 10,000 years of breeding.”
Another user commented: “Seeing the dog doing zoomies in the snow was so moving and made my day even better!”
