Chicago, February 8, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Midwest Automotive Media Association (MAMA) has recognized the Chevrolet Trucks as MAMA's Favorite Vehicle of 2024. The overall winner was determined by a vote of 189 of the association's national media members and announced at the Chicago Auto Show's welcome breakfast. February 8, 2024.

Revamped for 2024, MAMA's Favorite Vehicle award builds on the association's previous Family Vehicle of the Year and Luxury Family Vehicle of the Year awards. This has been expanded to highlight the number of diverse vehicles available that will be of interest to MAMA's member-based readers, viewers, and listeners. Each of the association's three driving events in 2023 (MAMA Spring Rally at Road America, MAMA's Favorite Fall Fest and Chicago Drive Electric) will be selected before determining the overall winner. Afterwards, members voted on the winners in seven categories.

MAMA's Favorite Affordable Car: Chevrolet Trax
MAMA's Favorite Plug-in Vehicle: Hyundai IONIQ 6
Two trophies were presented to GM representatives at the 2024 Chicago Auto Show Welcome Breakfast, naming the Chevrolet Trucks both MAMA's “Favorite Affordable Car” and “MAMA's Favorite Car of 2024.” Was chosen.
