Marshfield, Wis. (OnFocus) – Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS) is pleased to announce an upcoming pet clinic scheduled for Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the MAPS facility located at 3500 Downwind Drive. think.
This community event is made possible through the collaboration and generous contributions of dedicated professionals. Dr. Sarah Fadden of Loyal Veterinary Services provided rabies vaccines for $10 per dose to ensure the health and safety of our beloved pets.
Microchip implantation services are also $10 and are performed by MAPS staff members Holly and Caitlin, who are Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs). They strive to make it easy to identify and return your pet if it gets lost.
Thanks to the efforts of Officers Bob and Kayla of the Marshfield Police Department, pet licenses, an element of responsible pet ownership, will be available to residents of the City of Marshfield.
Our clinic is open to all pet owners, regardless of where they live. For everyone's safety and comfort, dogs must be on a leash and cats in carriers.
The main services provided during the clinic are:
• Rabies vaccine available for $10 (thanks to Dr. Sarah Faden)
• Get microchipped for $10 (thanks to MAPS staff Holly and Kaitlin, CVT)
• Pet Permit for City of Marshfield Residents (Thank you Bob and Kayla of the Marshfield Police Department)
• Important: Proof of previous rabies vaccination is required to receive the triennial vaccine.
This event requires no reservations and is focused on accessibility and convenience for all pet owners.
“We are grateful to Dr. Sarah Fadden, our loyal veterinary services, Holly, Caitlin and the Marshfield Police Department for their support. Their dedication to the well-being of our community’s pets is truly admirable,” MAPS Executives said. Director Karen Lau said.
