Diplomatic officials said Zelenskiy would sign bilateral security deals with France and Germany this week after starting talks in July, as Kiev seeks NATO membership and battles two years of Russian aggression. .
Macron's office said details of the agreement would be announced at a press conference.
The agreement will outline a framework for long-term humanitarian and financial assistance, reconstruction assistance and military assistance. France is expected to announce 200 million euros in funding for civilian projects carried out by French companies, two diplomats with knowledge of the talks said.
However, diplomatic sources said the Paris government would not be able to provide concrete financial commitments for the weapons deliveries because it would need to go back to parliament for approval.
Mr Macron is likely to make a public announcement instead. He has already said Paris will send regular supplies of air-to-ground missiles and an additional 40 long-range cruise missiles.
