The new theme is 'Taking travel technology to the next level. Together', ITB Berlin, the world's leading travel trade fair, is providing the largest platform ever for innovative travel technology solutions.
More than most other sectors, change and innovation have always driven the tourism industry. It is therefore no coincidence that the travel technology segment will once again occupy a prominent role at ITB Berlin 2024, which will take place from March 5th to 7th.
The popular eTravel Stage will once again take center stage with an impressive program of panels, keynotes and talks, with providers from over 30 countries presenting their advanced products and ideas across a total of five halls. See the complete list here.
The eTravel stage in Hall 6.1 will host a wide range of programs and this year will feature new AI and Digital Destinations theme tracks and expanded audience space to round out the many events.
Here are some highlights from the ITB Orange Stage in Hall 7.1a.
- On March 5th at 11:25 a.m., Chalta Phadnis, Senior Vice President of Research at Focuslight, and Glenn Vogel, CEO of Booking Holdings, will discuss leadership, innovation, and the future of travel.
- Join the ITB Travel Technology Startup Pitch and find out where the innovation is. Panelists Bastian Beckenhäuser (Founder and CEO of Travelcircus), Susanna Chiu (President of Amadeus Ventures) and Rolf Schlomgens (Founder of Brafe.space) will be joining Exciting on March 6 at 4:40 p.m. Meet with startups.
- Technology for Sustainable Tourism Innovation, in which University of Surrey Professor Dr. Xavier Font meets with leading travel technology companies to discuss how innovative technology interventions can help the tourism industry adopt sustainable practices.
