In the face of an ongoing crisis that is brought directly to us every day through the most heartbreaking images and videos, we see people collectively pondering how best to respond.
Using the community as a backbone, Thomas Sweetman (The Chain/Design Guru) reached out to Cormy (Geld) to discuss ideas, talk about how Thomas worked on a design that could be used for fundraising, and Cormy was able to obtain the design. Hifi Print then steps in as an intermediary, aka Alec (No Brainer), to print the designs on shirts and patches, and Life.Lair.Regret.Records to take orders and handle shipping.
The team has worked together to bring this idea to life thanks to the support of the global punk and hardcore community.
The response has been overwhelming for those involved, with both positive and negative comments being shared from all over the world, but the most significant experience has been the fact that over 150 shirts have been ordered to date and the project We received genuine support for the project.
You can order shirts, patches, and stickers here.
In addition to this, Life.Lair.Regret.Records has collaborated with friends and allies to produce rare and rare items, including test pressings and out-of-print items, along with an impressive roster of labels and artists such as Straightjacket Nation, COFFIN, and Extortion. We have planned a vinyl raffle. , Volatile Ways, World of Joy, Kromosom, No Peace, Split System, Half Man, Fever Shack, Enzyme and more, there's something for anyone interested in the alternative subculture.
Regarding the need for the lottery, the label said: “Fortunately, we know the people involved and are in a position to offer some support.” The foundation of Hardcore has always been about supporting each other against a crazy world, and right now we want to come together to support those who are suffering in any way we can. ”
All proceeds from these fundraisers will go to OIive Kids, an Australian-based organization that provides support to children in Palestine, and pre-orders for the shirts and patches will end in February, and there will be a raffle on the 12th. A lottery will also be held.
