I consider myself a frequent flyer, but even as an aspiring jet-setter with a solid collection of airline miles, I can't say I am. Love Air travel. I don't like the stale smell of airports, TSA gives me anxiety (will all my beauty products get through?), and I'll probably have to take twice as much. I don't like having to pay $30 for a substandard airport sandwich. Use an emergency Pepto-Bismol when the seatbelt sign comes on. Plus, since I always book economy tickets, I have to strategically hide my forbidden second personal item under an oversized trench coat to avoid spending an extra $50 on headroom. I've mastered it (which is both an art and a science, or so I thought), and I was recently arrested before boarding. )
Next is the actual flight. The dry air, the awkwardness of sitting in the middle seat and waking your “neighbor” who is too close for comfort to urinate. I'm always amazed at how most flight attendants cope. It's so comfortable while dealing with rude passengers, sleepless nights, and endless delays (which I'm sure is just as frustrating for them). All I can think is that I'm probably too old to sleep with my head on a tray table, so why do I look so fresh and put together?I morning By the way, I'm too old for that.
After a particularly tough recent flight from hell (LAX), three flight attendants share tips and product recommendations for staying fresh in the not-so-fresh air of American airlines and airports. I thought I'd ask him. After all, their job is to look attractive, or at least fun, while serving people in the air while battling sleep deprivation, jet lag, dry skin, and dehydration. We asked three flight attendants about their favorite travel products and tips for taking your next flight to the next level.
