Bainbridge featured on the cover of Georgia's Official State Travel Guide

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (February 6, 2024) – The Visit Bainbridge office announced today that Bainbridge is featured as one of four covers in Georgia’s 2024 Official State Travel Guide. The guide is produced annually by Explore Georgia, the tourism arm of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, and is dedicated to inspiring travel to and within the state.
“The growth and evolution of the Official State Travel Guide has contributed to Georgia's strongest tourism economy in history,” said Mark Jaronsky, chief marketing officer for the Georgia Department of Economic Development. “The communities featured on the cover of our travel guide represent Georgia's unique and diverse experiences and geography, and we offer travelers of all types and interests the opportunity to explore more beaches, beaches, and more throughout the guide. We invite you to discover mountain, small town, rural and urban destinations.”
Based on traveler sentiment research and visitor data, the travel guide's four covers feature Georgia's small towns, cities, mountains, and beaches, the main types travelers most want to visit. represents the destination. Featured cover destinations include Bainbridge's Downtown Plaza, Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park, Hiawassee's Bell's Mountain Park and Historic Site, and Tybee Island's South Beach Pier and Pavilion.
