One of Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary's volunteers earned a gold star for her dedication. Terry, who is sometimes affectionately referred to as “Grandpa Terry,” loves spending time with her rescue cats. He helps groom them, gives them lots of love, and even takes naps with them. In fact, there are some adorable photos of Terry doing just that in one of his Facebook posts for the animal sanctuary.
“We are so lucky to have a human like Terry,” Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary wrote in the caption. “One day Terry came over and introduced himself. He said he wanted to brush the cats. Eventually it became a routine. He brushed all the cats and taught them all about their likes and dislikes. He also falls asleep most days. He doesn't mind – cats need this! Terry is a great volunteer.”

Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary is certainly lucky to have volunteers like Terry who are willing to spend so much time with cats in need. We love seeing animals receiving the care and love they deserve.
