The world of AI has advanced rapidly in the last few years thanks to generative AI. This technology is moving beyond just the written word and is beginning to permeate various communication media. In that vein, Voice.ai lets you change your voice to sound more like famous celebrities and characters. On the surface it looks like a simple voice changer app, but there's a lot more to it than meets the eye. So in this article, let's take a closer look at what Voice.ai is and how you can use it to change your voice.
What is Voice.ai?

Voice.ai is free software that uses artificial intelligence to change the way your voice sounds. You can change your voice in real time, so you can use it during calls on apps like Discord, Skype, and Google Meet. Unlike older voice changers that simply add filters to your voice, Voice.ai says he trained his model on 15 million unique speakers to improve output quality.
Live streamers and content creators can use Voice.ai to modify their voices for comedic purposes. Similarly, it is useful if you need to disguise your original voice and remain anonymous. Conversely, you can create your own voice and let others use it to create their own content.
Voice.ai allows you to voice like celebrities or anime characters. Choose what you like.
Voice.ai lets anyone train custom voices, so you can find hundreds of celebrities, politicians, and cartoon characters in the app's library. The quality can vary significantly from audio to audio, so we recommend trying a few different samples before focusing on one audio.
This software has some additional drawbacks. Unlike many of the currently available AI voice generators, it cannot convert input text to speech. Instead, you can only record and convert your own voice. Therefore, if you are going to record a voiceover, you need to make sure that your tone and pronunciation are consistent throughout.

Voice.ai uses a process known as deep learning to extract unique audio features from the recordings you provide. You can then modify the new recording to reproduce the audio patterns from your training.
The AI-driven approach allows Voice.ai to replicate many types of human voices, from anime characters to deep-voiced actors. However, the quality of the voice changer results depends entirely on the amount of training data provided to the voice changer.
If you want to train your voice, Voice.ai recommends uploading at least 15 minutes of audio samples. However, this small training data often produces barely usable models. For best results, we recommend uploading several hours of audio recordings for your training. Although the process will take some time, it is your best bet for a good final recording and output.
Voice.ai allows you to create your own voice models as long as you have enough audio samples.
Luckily, Voice.ai's library has hundreds of voices to choose from, so you don't have to worry about training your own model. Even better, each voice has standardized audio samples and user ratings, allowing you to assess quality upfront.
Once you've selected your preferred voice, you can use it to change the voice in pre-recorded files or change your microphone input in real time. Live mode is more intensive because Voice.ai needs to change your voice with as little delay as possible. Your computer requires a dedicated graphics card, but even then you may want to reduce speed in favor of higher quality.
Is Voice.ai free?
Yes, you can try Voice.ai for free if you only want the most basic voice modification features, but you will need to pay for a regular Pro subscription to use many headline features. there is. Unfortunately, using third-party models falls into the latter category. You can also purchase and earn credits to use on individual voices.
You can try Voice.ai for free, but most features are locked with a subscription.
If you volunteer to donate computer processing to train Voice.ai models, you can receive some credit for free. However, we recommend that you do not enable this, as the process of earning credits is very time-consuming and may result in higher electricity bills at the end of the month.
There are several different options to choose from when it comes to Pro subscriptions. Subscriptions will cost $20 per month during the promotional period (regular price is $30). It's only $60 during the sale (or $80 at list price), so it's better to pay annually. The app also offers a one-month free trial, but you have to enter your credit card details and manually cancel your subscription before the next month.
Is Voice.ai safe?
Voice.ai is not backed by a large company, but it is safe to use. This program, at least in its current iteration, does not cause any potential harm to your system.
That being said, you should avoid using the background model training feature even if you can earn free credits. At the very least, make sure it doesn't take up a lot of your computer's resources and that your electricity bill doesn't outweigh the benefits.
