Russ Henneberry, digital marketing consultant and founder of theCLIKK.com, explains the key elements of a successful digital marketing campaign.
According to Henneberry, there are five key elements to a winning campaign. First up is the offer. What products do you offer to the market?
The second is the persona. Who are you talking to?
The third is position. Why is your solution the right choice among your competitors? In other words, “What are you best at in the world?”
The fourth is evidence. Henneberry calls it “fire gas.” It is important to strengthen the marketer's position through methods such as testimonials, statistics, and scientific data. “It proves that we should own that position in the market,” he says.
The fifth and final thing is to have a plan. Together, Henneberry says, these five elements act as a marketing “tailwind,” a way for sellers to convince buyers of the value of their products and services. Without these, “you're flying the plane into the headwind.”
The five elements are critical to creating a comprehensive strategy that includes the key marketing “pillars” of branding, content development, and lead generation. They all lead to the ability to “hold your space in someone's heart.”
A common mistake marketers make is failing to plan and act quickly. “The digital marketing environment is a great place to test things very quickly,” Henneberry says. “But you have to put something on the market to get feedback.” Only then can marketers adjust their plans for maximum impact.
Mr. Henneberry will lead a master class and interactive learning lab on “Designing and Developing Winning Campaigns” at the Global Supply Chain Marketing Summit, June 5-7, 2024 in Amelia Island, Florida. Masu.
