February is the season for Valentine's Day. If you're looking for true love, San Diego County Animal Services has many adorable and cuddly animals that will capture your heart.
With the department's 'You Make My Heart Spin' campaign, all you have to do is let love take the wheel. Turn the Department's Wheel of Love to see adoption fees at Bonita and Carlsbad shelters. From now until Wednesday, February 14th. All adoptions are $20 or less.
Help give these wonderful dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, pigs, and turtles forever homes filled with hugs, kisses, purrs, and tail wagging. Don't miss this sweet and wonderful opportunity to make a difference in both your life and theirs.

All adoption fees include spay or neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, and a one-year license for dogs within our service area. Adoption fees are waived for pets that have been in the shelter for more than 30 days.
If you are interested in adopting one of the county's wonderful pets, walk-in hours at the South Shelter, located at 5821 Sweetwater Road in Bonita and North, are open Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shelter, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad. Photo ID is required to apply. Recruitment will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Adoption is always free, even if adoption isn't currently an option. Please consider joining your county's foster care program. Even a short break from the shelter environment for a few days can greatly improve your pet's health and welfare. Basic care supplies such as food, leashes, and bedding are all included as part of the program.
