The Ford Maverick pickup truck starts at $24,000 and seats five.
This compact bed pickup is all about fun and performance. With a weight capacity of 1,500 lbs, it can easily accommodate sofas, nightstands, and more. It gets 22 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway.
There are three trims ranging from XL to Lariat, the latter priced at $35,000.
The “Flex Bed” storage system is designed to be adaptable, with a 4.5-foot-tall bed, 10 available tie-downs, in-bed electrical outlets, and a multi-position tailgate. Convert your tailgate into a sturdy workbench or party space. When the tailgate is partially closed, it lines up perfectly with the wheel well. It can hold items flat between items, allowing you to carry long materials such as drywall. Ford also offers the option of a manual-locking tailgate or a power-locking version.
I love the details on the bed, including the LED box lighting. LED box lighting is standard on the Lariat and available on the XLT trim. Two 12-volt pre-wired connections and an available 400-watt 110-volt outlet allow you to power additional LED lights, a small refrigerator, or even a small TV.
The XL's interior features a 4.2-inch instrument cluster screen and an 8-inch center infotainment system. With Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility, cloth bucket seats, and plenty of storage space, his Maverick is a powerful companion for any trip or work. Lariat also offers an 8-speaker B&0 sound system with a subwoofer for a superior sound experience.
The XLT trim features a unique “Navy Pier” and “Medium Slate” interior with orange highlights that brings both style and practicality to the cabin. These accents are placed at high-traffic touchpoints, such as door handles and the center console, so everything you use most stands out. At the top of the trim range is the Lariat with “Desert Brown ActiveX” trim seats and an 8-way power driver's seat.
On the outside, the Maverick features 18-inch machined bright aluminum wheels. You can also bring the outside in with a power moonroof available on XLT and Lariat.
Driving the Ford Maverick was really fun. Please try it out and let us know what you think.
