Usher has finally announced the tracklist for his ninth studio album. Go home, Latto, Burna Boy, 21 Savage and more. The 20-song album, scheduled for release on February 9th, will be released two days before Ash takes the stage at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to perform the halftime show at Super Bowl III. Buddy Jungkook also includes features from Dream, HER, Summer Walker, and Ushers BTS.
“You asked…so I had to deliver,” Usher said in the caption of a post featuring the song list on Wednesday (January 31). The album begins with the title track (with Burna Boy), followed by “Good Good” (with 21 Savage and Walker), “A-Town Girl” (with Ratt), and “In Cold Blood” (with The co-starring with Dream) will continue.
Non-featured songs include “Kissing Strangers,” “Keep On Dancin',” “Bop,” “Stone Kold Freak,” “BIG,” “On the Side,” and “I Am the Party.” “I Love U,” “Please U,” “Luckiest Man,” “Margiela,” “Room in a Room,” and “One of Them Ones.”
The album ends with a remix of Jungkook's “Standing Next to You.” HER is featured on the song “Risk It All.” This song is included on the movie soundtrack. the color purple — and Pheelz is featured on “Ruin.”
Heading into the big show, Usher earned the second-most nominations in the Music/Recording category at the 2024 NAACP Image Awards with five nominations behind Victoria Mone's six nominations. Usher recently previewed his plans for the Super Bowl, saying that his plan to cram his entire career into 13 intense minutes “has to be perfect…I've been doing this for 30 years. Those who have joined me on that journey. We want everyone to feel like this is a celebration for all of us, from the beginning until now.”
