Manila, Philippines — Philippine Digital Marketing Association (DMAP), at its first GMM of 2024 held on January 25th at Enderun Atrium, Bonifacio Global City, introduced and inducted the Association’s 2024 Board of Directors and announced the 2024 theme “Impact “Transformative Innovation for Growth” was announced.
DMAP announced its plans to leverage breakthrough innovation and help drive impactful growth for its members, brands, businesses, and the Philippine digital industry through its planned programs and activities this year.
The guest of honor this night is Vince Tobias, Head of Innovation, Ayala Corporationhas joined DMAP's new Board of Trustees and Executive Committee, sharing his experience building and elevating innovation at Ayala Group's BPI and FamilyDoc, as well.
DMAP President Manny Gonzalez He said the 2024 Direction responds to what brands, businesses and individuals are looking for in today's uncertain times. “According to a recent study by Gartner, the top three things organizations and individuals are focused on are growth, upskilling employees, and purposefully leveraging the power of technology. This inspired the board to come up with the theme of Transformational Innovation for Impactful Growth. We also want to create a roadmap to guide them and ensure growth happens through innovation. It could be personal growth, brand or business growth, or the growth of the Philippine digital industry. ”
Some of the program's key innovations include DMAP's two major long-running events. digicon, The largest marketing conference in the Philippines, and boomerang awardthe industry's best digital marketing competition.
Vince reviewed the plans and advised DMAP's Board of Trustees: But my point is that innovation has to be transformative for consumers, end users, and even non-end users. This is because many products and services are inaccessible to underserved and underserved populations due to disincentives to consumption. ”
Tobias' call was enthusiastically received by DMAP executives and board members, who represent high-profile brands and industry players.
