Marvel's big Fantastic Four release ignored the announcement of the actors behind additional characters that you might have missed at first glance.
In the left corner of Marvel's Fantastic Four's Valentine's Day card announcement (which is a wild text in itself) is a robot drinking water from a mug.But it's not just any old robot, it's the Fantastic His Four character, Harvey
Harvey first appeared in the 1978 animated series New Fantastic Four. NBC was unable to secure The Human Torch due to legal disputes with Universal Studios, which was attempting to launch its own spin-off film. Legend has it that it was Stan Lee who proposed the idea for a replacement robot companion. Fred Welker, who has been the voice of Fred in the Scooby-Doo series since 1969, provided the voice for Harvey. The robot would later appear in the Fantastic Four comic.
Fantastic Four marks the team's first entry into the MCU, and Harvey's second live-action appearance (and first time speaking on screen). A deactivated Harvey can be seen in the extended cut of 2005's Fantastic His Four. Tara Strong, who voices Ms. Minutes in Loki, also voiced bots in her two appearances in the animated series The Superhero Squad Show and the video game Lego Marvel Super Heroes. I am. We're grateful for her involvement with the Fantastic Four.
