Alessandro Canta, a prominent executive at one of Europe's largest public utilities, will be speaking at 10:30 a.m. CST on February 21 as part of the U of A Rome Center Speaker Series hosted by the Graduate School and the Graduate School. ) will discuss innovation in finance. international education. Canta is Head of Finance and Insurance at ENEL SpA, an Italian energy company and one of Europe's largest utility companies. Casta has held this role since 2014 and leads his team of 360 financial and insurance managers in over 20 countries. He is also Chairman of ENEL Finance International and ENEL Finance America. His talk will focus on how innovation happens within organizations and the steps toward successful innovation.
The Rome Center Speaker Series offers lectures by prominent international experts on a variety of topics throughout the spring semester.
