Apple is seeding VisionOS 1.1 Beta 2 to Vision Pro developers. This is the first main test version of this space computer since it was released in early February. Changes include several usability improvements and other new features.
visionOS 1.1 Beta 2 is available for download in your device's Settings app by enabling Developer Beta. One of the new features is Apple device management Go to Vision Pro. This allows IT departments to manage these headsets the same way they manage other Apple devices.
Another change in visionOS 1.1 beta 2 is the ability to: Reset this spatial computer if the user forgets the password. This is now also available in the latest visionOS 1.0.3 version.
Some users report that Apple has also improved FaceTime digital persona and real-world pass-through images. It's unclear how much Apple can improve going forward, but the company also highlighted tips and tricks to ensure the device captures the best user persona. The following points should be kept in mind:
- Capture won't begin until you hold Apple Vision Pro at eye level. If you do not start the capture within 15 minutes, the capture will be canceled. After you turn Apple Vision Pro back on, you can resume capturing.
- Find a space that faces forward and is evenly lit to avoid casting shadows on your face. Avoid bright light sources overhead or in the background.
- Stand or sit in front of a simple, neutral background without too many details.
- It remains in the same location and position during the capture process.
- Relax your shoulders while holding Apple Vision Pro.
- A natural, authentic look produces the best results.
In addition to visionOS 1.1 beta 2, Apple also released a third test version of iOS 17.4, iPadOS 17.4, macOS 14.4, watchOS 10.4, and tvOS 17.4. BGR We'll let you know if we discover anything new in this beta.
