BinMaster's new BMRX-300 rotary level switch features a large LED built-in indicator light. When the bin is full and the paddle stops rotating, the bright LED will change from green to red. Can be used to prevent overfilling or to wire a DPDT 10 amp output relay to stop a process such as turning off an auger. This easy-to-install level indicator eliminates the need to climb into trash cans and silos, keeping people safe.
The light is housed inside the rotary's protective lid. No additional wiring is required for external notification lights. When the BMRX-300 is mounted on the side of a container, the bright green or red light is visible from 100 feet away. Fail-safe operation, self-diagnosis, and immediate corrective response to faults make the BMRX-300 the ideal rotary for process control. A red light provides a visual warning of a fault or covered condition, and a green LED light indicates a rotating or uncovered status condition.
The BMRX-300, including the motor, is designed and manufactured in-house in Nebraska. Comes with two 3/4-in. Easy-to-wire conduit entry and standard 1.25-in. NPT connections allow for easy replacement or upgrade of existing rotaries. New red NEMA 4X, 5, 7, 9, 12 aluminum cast housing with powder coated finish includes a screw-down cover for convenient and easy access to wiring. Another new feature is that the enclosure rotates 360° to point the conduit entrance downwards, protecting the unit from moisture and water ingress.
